Bring inspiration photos if you have them — even if they’re just “vibes.” We’ll talk through what’s realistic for your hair type, texture, and starting point, and make a plan together.

Timing: how long your first appointment might take

First visits usually take a little longer than maintenance appointments because of the consult and planning. Here are typical ranges:

• Haircut / shaping: ~45–60 minutes

• Gloss / toner only: ~60 minutes

• Balayage / highlights / lived-in color: ~2.5–4 hours

• Color correction: ~3–5+ hours

• Extensions install: ~2 hours

• Blowout / styling: ~30–60 minutes

How to prep your hair before you come in
